Oysterband

Oysterband is a folkrock band that i got to know of in 1995 through DR P3 (Danish Radio). They played "When i'm up, i can't get down" for a week, but i never got the name of the band, so i phoned DR and by their help i got the bandname.
1996 Oysterband played on the Kloeften Festival in Haderslev and since that concert , i have been a great fan of Oysterband.

Oysterband is making some of the best folkrock, i ever have heard until now. My favoritcd is the livecd'en Alive & Shouting, that really gets close to a real concert with the Oysterband. I can only recommend people to see this band live, the karishma and energy that gets out to the audience from the stage is just great. In 1999 in Toender, i had the luck for the first time to hear the band giving an acoustic concert and it was a concert that only the Oysterband could do.
Since 1996 i have been to about 90 concerts with Oysterband and i'm always trying to go to their concerts as offen as i can afford it.
