Oysterband

Review from Skagen Festival 04. july 2009

The gig was like a tøndergig, 3 names on for the evening, first in was Beggars Row, ok music, but more something for an small beertent.
Then Oysterband came on and gave a great gig, allthoug they had to struggle with the monitorsystem on stage ( they had no sound in them), but with their 30 years of experience, they keept on playing and smilling.

Despite the trouble with the
monitors they gave an excellent gig and the opening act surprised me, When i'm up, in the new version (from Oxgirl Girl and other stories), can't remember an gig, where they open with that song.

The Oysterband seemed to be in very good shape and there was a lot of energy on the stage...maybe the soloprojets gave them a break they needed. (read news)
